Terms of service

By downloading, accessing, or using Sneeky Link (the “App” or “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Sneeky Link is operated by Rabbitron Technologies (Pty) Ltd(“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in the Republic of South Africa.

By creating an account, you confirm that:

• You are 18 years of age or older
• You are legally permitted to use dating services in your jurisdiction
• You have not been convicted of a violent or sexual offence
• Your account has not previously been terminated for violating these Terms

• You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• One account per person; multiple accounts are not permitted.
• You may not transfer your account to another person.
• You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

You agree to use Sneeky Link only for lawful purposes and in accordance with our Community Guidelines. You agree not to:

• Use the Service if you are under 18
• Post, send or request any content that sexualises or depicts a minor
• Create fake, misleading, or impersonation profiles
• Harass, threaten, stalk, bully, or abuse other users
• Post or send hate speech, or attack anyone based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic
• Post nudity or sexually explicit content in your profile photos or anywhere on your profile
• Send sexually explicit images to anyone, including in chats, or sexual messages to anyone who has not welcomed them
• Solicit money, financial information, or gifts from other users
• Offer or solicit escort services, sex work, or any other paid services or commercial arrangements
• Send spam, run scams, or share phishing or fraudulent links
• Use the Service to facilitate any illegal activity
• Use automated tools, bots, scripts, or scrapers
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or compromise the App's security
• Create accounts on behalf of others without authorisation
• Screenshot and distribute other users' private content without consent

You retain ownership of content you post (photos, messages, bio). By posting content, you grant Rabbitron Technologies (Pty) Ltd a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, store, and transmit it solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

You are solely responsible for all content you post. You confirm that you have the right to share all content you upload, and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines at our sole discretion, without prior notice.

Subscription tiers:

All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include applicable VAT. Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis and renew automatically until cancelled.

Subscriptions and in-app purchases are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Cancellation:

• iOS: Cancel via Apple App Store → Subscriptions
• Android: Cancel via Google Play → Subscriptions
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• Unused time is not refunded upon cancellation
• Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription

Refunds:

Refunds are at the discretion of Apple (iOS) or Google (Android) per their respective refund policies. For help with a purchase, contact support@sneekylink.co.za. We comply with refund obligations under the South African Consumer Protection Act.

Price changes:

We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any price increase. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

Your use of Sneeky Link is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information, including the circumstances under which private messages may be reviewed by our Trust & Safety team.

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You can report or block any member from their profile or from a conversation in the app. We review every report within 24 hours. Profile photos are also screened automatically for nudity when they are uploaded.

We reserve the right to:

• Remove content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines
• Suspend or permanently ban accounts for violations, at our sole discretion
• Review reported conversations as described in our Privacy Policy
• Report content involving minors, and other illegal activity, to South African law enforcement
• Cooperate with South African law enforcement when required

We do not monitor all content on the platform, so please report anything that breaks these rules. See our support page for how.

The Sneeky Link name, logo, app design, and all associated branding are owned by Rabbitron Technologies (Pty) Ltd. You may not use our intellectual property without written permission.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• You will make any particular matches or connections
• Other users' profiles are accurate or that users are who they claim to be

To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, Rabbitron Technologies (Pty) Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damages resulting from interactions with other users.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rabbitron Technologies (Pty) Ltd and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

You may delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Settings → Account → Delete account) or by following the steps on our account deletion page. We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of South Africa.

Before initiating formal legal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us at legal@sneekylink.co.za to resolve the matter informally.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
