Child safety standards

Sneeky Link is for adults only. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), and these are the standards we hold ourselves and every member to.

Last updated: 13 October 2026

Sneeky Link is strictly for people aged 18 and over. Any account that belongs to a minor is removed, and any content that sexually exploits a child is removed and reported to the authorities.

What is banned

Child sexual abuse and exploitation is banned on Sneeky Link without exception. That includes:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind, including drawn, edited or AI-generated images.
  • Any content, message or profile that sexualises a person under 18.
  • Grooming: contacting, befriending or manipulating a minor with a sexual purpose.
  • Sextortion: threatening to share intimate images of a minor, or demanding images, money or contact.
  • Trafficking, or offering or seeking a minor for sex.
  • Asking for, sharing, linking to or advertising any of the above, on or off Sneeky Link.

Profile photos of children, including childhood or family photos, are not allowed either. These rules are part of our community guidelines and terms of service.

Keeping minors off Sneeky Link

  • Everyone gives their date of birth when they sign up, and nobody under 18 can finish creating an account.
  • Accounts reported or found to belong to someone under 18 are removed.
  • Every profile photo is checked automatically when it is uploaded, and our moderators review reported photos and profiles.
  • Photos sent in chats stay blurred until the person receiving them chooses to view them.

How to report

In the app, open the person's profile or the chat, tap Report, and choose Underage user, or Inappropriate content for anything that sexualises a child, and add any details that help. You can also block them from the same menu.

You can email safety@sneekylink.co.za at any time, including if you are not a member. If a child is in immediate danger, contact the police first: in South Africa, call 10111.

What we do when something is reported

  • Child safety reports are reviewed as a priority.
  • Content that breaks these standards is removed, and the account is banned.
  • We keep the evidence that the law requires us to keep, and nobody at Sneeky Link shares it further.
  • We report child sexual abuse material and child exploitation to the South African Police Service and the Film and Publication Board, as South African law requires, and to the relevant authorities in other countries where their law requires it.
  • We cooperate with law enforcement investigations.

Child safety contact

Our designated contact for child safety, CSAM prevention and compliance questions, including from app stores, law enforcement and child protection organisations, is safety@sneekylink.co.za.
